Portreath Beach

No guide to Cornwall’s best beaches is complete without the inclusion of our nearest beach – Portreath. The large beach has soft fine sand, with shingle below the shore line and is popular with families.

The harbour wall and “rocky” is well-known by surfers for its “vortex” surf break. Nearby you’ll find lots of cafes, serving up a variety of snacks, meals and drinks.
