Our tips for maximising your holiday let income

At Gwel an Mor you already have a head start on getting a great return from your holiday home purchase, but we’ve got a few more pointers to help you boost your returns even further! You can also save up to 25%** of the value of your property, by making the most of tax savings. We can put you in touch with holiday letting tax specialists before you make your purchase so you have all the information that you need.

1.

Make the most of peak season potential! The school holidays are our busiest time, when demand and tariffs are at their highest. Plus, they are often a period that our owners would prefer to leave to the holidaymakers to enjoy. The more availability you can offer during the peak seasons, the higher your returns are likely to be.

2.

Follow our booking patterns. Whilst we want you to be able to enjoy your holiday home as freely as possible, if you’ve got an eye on your income we’d advise you to keep your own bookings within our own check in and check out days. This avoids any empty days between your departure and the next booking availability

Be an early bird! Being organised with signing up and renewing your Premier Letting agreement will help you win more bookings. The sooner we have your availability to advertise, the more likely it is that we will fill it. January is a key booking period in the industry that you don’t want to miss.
