We want to make sure that you’re filled with every confidence in Seal Bay Resort, when you purchase a holiday home with us. Whether it’s a new or pre-loved caravan, our warranties have got you covered.

New Caravans

With the purchase of a new holiday home at Seal Bay Resort you will receive a twelve-month manufacturer warranty and in some cases for several more years on elements of the holiday home depending on individual manufacturer warranties, to find out more, follow the links to see what each manufacturer offers… ABI, Carnaby, Pemberton, Regal, Swift, Victory, Delta, Willerby, Atlas. If your holiday home manufacturer is not listed please speak to one of our ownership advisers to find out more. You will receive a specific holiday home warranty cover booklet supplied by the manufacturer with your purchase.

Bunn Leisure Holiday Home Ownership - New Caravan Warranty

Pre-owned Caravans

If you purchase a pre-owned static caravan at Seal Bay Resort you will have agreed to a six-month warranty which includes parts and labour.

The warranty covers (a) Water leaks, domestic supply and/or central heating. (b) Failure of any fitted gas or electric appliance. (c) Failure of the structure.

Please note: If your holiday home is not drained down by Seal Bay Resort and there is a water leak due to an incorrect drain down it will not be covered by warranty.

Bunn Leisure Holiday Home Ownership - Pre-Owned Caravan Warranty

The warranty excludes (a) Fair wear and tear that reflects the age of the holiday home and it’s status as pre-owned. (b) Accidental or malicious damage – damage as a result of a fire, condensation, or damage of any kind caused by a third party. (c) Damage as a result of misuse, alterations or negligence. (d) Damage to fixtures and appliances which do not form part of the original specifications. (e) Failure due to incorrectly connected electrical appliances. (f) Replacement of parts that reach the end of their effective life through age or use. (g) Damage from frost/freezing as a result of not having the holiday home drained down by a qualified and competent Seal Bay Resort engineer.

Conditions of the warranty state that (a) You must formally report and receive written confirmation of a claim within the warranty period. (b) Any parts or components must only have been used in the manner for which they were designed, and have not been altered. (c) Any work must only be undertaken by an authorised and qualified trades-person. (d) The warranty applies to the purchased holiday home only and is not transferable. (e) We reserve the right to alter specifications or supply alternative parts if original components are no longer available. (f) We reserve the right to alter or amend this warranty at any time.

Drain down service

We offer a winter drain down service to all our customers. This is carried out by a competent Seal Bay Resort engineer and full details can be given on request.

This warranty does not affect and cannot exclude your statutory rights as a consumer. For more information on these statutory rights contact a local authority Trading Standards Dept or Citizens Advice Bureau.
