East Wittering Beach

East Wittering beach is only nine miles from the park, which makes it easy to come and explore the local village and area for a great day out. This stunning shingle beach is the perfect sandcastle building beach when the tide goes out…So don’t forget to bring along your bucket and spade!

Bognor Regis Beach

Visit the Seaside Award winning Bognor Regis Beach. There’s plenty of seaside activities to keep the children entertained here, including a play park, mini golf and a sandpit filled with washed beach sand for the little ones to build sandcastles in a safe environment.

Selsey Beach

Explore the beautiful pebble beach at Selsey. It surrounds the RNLI Lifeboat Station, where you can take in the sea air while admiring the stunning views across Bognor Regis. If there is time, why not visit the fish huts and enjoy some freshly caught local seafood from the coastline at Selsey.

West Wittering Beach

West Wittering Beach is one of the premier Blue Flag beaches in the country. It boasts spectacluar views of Chichester Harbour and the South Downs. The natural sandy beach, wildlife and shallow lagoons makes it a great destination for nature lovers and a family day out

Weald and Downland Living Museum

Explore The Weald and Downland Living Museum. Just 14 miles from the park, this is a hidden gem in the picturesque Sussex countryside. The 40 acre site is home to more than 50 historic buildings, giving you the chance to experience what life was like for people living in bygone times. Enjoy a programme of demonstrations, or bring your four legged friends and take a walk in the beautiful surrounding woodland.

Spinnaker Tower

Spinnaker Tower is an experience not to be missed! Visit Britain’s best viewing tower with the thrilling glass Sky Walk. Watch the world go by below your feet. Or if you’re feeling more daring, why not try Altitude? This virtual reality experince will really test your head for heights.

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Take a trip back in time when you visit Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard. Here you can step on board the world-famous ship, Queen Victoria’s HMS Warrior. While you’re there, why not enjoy a jaunt on the Waterbus to Gosport, or a Harbour Tour. There’s so much to absorb you here and something to please everyone!

Tangmere Military Aviation Museum

Visit Tangmere Military Aviation Museum and immerse yourself in the past. The museum is based on the former Battle of Britain airfield in Tangemere, near Chichester.

Selsey, West Sussex
