If you love beach holidays, you’ve come to the right place. From our peaceful park, enjoy direct access to Bracklesham Bay and seven miles of sand and shingle beaches – all just a few minutes walk from your chalet. The West Sussex coastline is home to some genuinely jaw-dropping beaches, including the spectacular Witterings.
But which ones are worth exploring? We’ve put together a handy guide with just a few of our favourites.
West Wittering
Located at the mouth of Chichester Harbour, West Wittering is a jewel in the crown of West Sussex.
This attractive sandy beach is within a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It’s ideal for sunbathing, paddling and water sports like surfing, windsurfing and kite-surfing when conditions are right. Nearby facilities include toilets, showers, parking and a café.
Bracklesham Bay
This popular beach is our nearest, with direct access from our holiday park. A must-visit during your stay!
It’s mainly shingle but gets sandier towards the water’s edge and is a fantastic spot for open-water swimming and relaxing strolls walking, whilst there are plenty of amenities in the village that overlook the beach like the popular Billy’s On The Beach cafe.
East Wittering
We love East Wittering! It’s typical of many beaches in the region, with shelving shingles and wooden groynes. As the tide goes out expansive sand flats are revealed. It’s 2 miles from its more popular neighbour, West Wittering, and remains a great choice for those who prefer a quieter spot.
East Head
Considered by many to be one of the best beaches in West Sussex, this delightful dune spit lies on the eastern side of the entrance to Chichester Harbour. This sandy beach, backed by dunes and salt marshes provides a habitat for many rare species of plant and animal life and is a wonderful day out.
Middleton-on-sea
If you don’t mind jumping in the car for a bit of a drive, head east towards Bognor Regis and discover Middleton-on-Sea Beach. It’s one of the sunniest spots in the UK and is relatively tranquil, being used mostly by locals walking their dogs it’s perfect for a peaceful afternoon under the summer sun.
