Walking Near Loch Awe
Our most northerly destination Loch Awe is perfect for exploring the Scottish Highlands & Islands and there are some fantastic walking options around the holiday park. Just a five-minute drive from Loch Awe Holiday Park you’ll find the Inverawe Nature Trails, taking you around the popular Inverawe Smokehouse, alongside the loch and through forest land rich with wildlife.
If you’re a fan of prehistoric remains, seek out Kilmartin Glen where you can discover standing circles, fascinating rock carvings and cairns. Experienced hikers have two Munros (Ben Cruachan, Stob Diamh) and a Corbet (Beinn a’ Bhuiridh) to bag; the ridge walk between the Munros offers spectacular views.
Loch Awe holiday park is a great base for heading west to the coast where there are many islands to explore, or further north to the West Highlands.
