The Dockyard, located at our Seal Bay Resort in Selsey, West Sussex is a brand-new adventure play facility for children of all ages from tots to tweens and even teens, it joins an impressive selection of incredible facilities at Seal Bay, adding to the already long list of reasons to visit!
The Dockyard opened in June 2023 and has since been a firm favourite with guests, this multi-activity offering is the perfect place for thrill seekers to bring out their inner pirate!

Climbing Walls
There are 12 walls to climb, and with 3 levels of difficulty, it’s a great challenge for beginners to novices in a fun and safe environment.
This action-packed activity will test your agility and courage and is perfect for all ages from 4 upwards.
Adventure Bounce Play
Channel your inner pirate and conquer the rigging and nets of our Adventure Play area.
Enter the ship and discover level after level of fun. Make your way to the top and you’ll reach the suspended bounce nets, the perfect vantage point to spot the enemy!
The bounce nets aren’t for the faint-hearted, suspended high above the Dockyard these nets are the perfect playground to jump, bounce and frolic until your heart is content.
Kyle is a massive people person, which is what drew him away from office-based roles and towards business development, including positions for large companies such as St Gobain and Story Homes.
Tots Bounce Play
The little ones will love jumping, bouncing and from our suspended nets in an area specially allocated for ages 3 to 5.
Indoor Adventure Golf
A firm family favourite, our new indoor 9-hole adventure golf course is perfect for a bit of friendly competition. Embark on a voyage riddled with dastardly obstacles.
Designed to create magical memories and provide unforgettable experiences, The Dockyard is guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face and take your Seal Bay Resort experience to new heights.
The Dockyard is not just for holidaymakers to enjoy, day guests are welcome to hop on board for a nautical adventure. It’s the perfect day out on the South Coast and a great way to burn some energy on those rainy days. Day visitors are welcome every day, but if you’re looking to entertain pre-schoolers during the week take advantage of our quieter times during off-peak seasons.
Day visitors can also enjoy other activities whilst at Seal Bay – including a visit to the Pottery Studio where guests can pick a piece of pottery to paint their own masterpiece, create some colourful Sand Art, or build their own Teddy to treasure. For some more friendly competition, day guests can also take advantage of our newly renovated ten-pin bowling alley – Bowling Bay.
During off-peak seasons, day visitors can book a session at the Oasis Leisure Pool, where they can meander their way relaxing down the lazy river, enjoy our multiple 25-metre pools, race down the mega splash waterslide, or simply splash around in our water features.
